Overall it was still a pleasant stay. Everything was great except some facility not working.

The hotel looks modern and new.

The hotel was undergoing some renovation. The shower room doesn’t have a door or curtain so whenever I showered, the whole bathroom was wet. The fridge in the room was not working either. The hotel is at the safer side of Amsterdam so it is a bit far from the happening side of Amsterdam.

Excellent base for our visit to Amsterdam. 10 minute walk from the station and town centre!

Comfortable rooms, the location was great, the ambiance of the restaurant / bar was very good. Staff were friendly

Nothing really, the check in procedure was a bit protracted. Especially as we had already checked in on line and was led to believe we would only be required to collect our room keys. But no big deal

1) there should have been slippers available; 2) during the day - there were loud construction noises on the floor above us and we couldn't sleep; 3) during the night - the blue button required for the door to open didn't work; an employee told me that we need to swipe the card first (same procedure required for the elevators) an then press the blue button; if an employee was not available at 3 AM when I arrived I could have been stuck outside and on the printed guideline outside this additional step is not mentioned;

Good location.

Great location, good price, large room.

The hotel was in renovations, a fact not mentioned anywhere before our stay or during the check-in. This meant that every day from 8.30 until 18.30 (and 8.53 on Saturday) someone drilled next door our room making it impossible to stay in. Also, the heating didn't worked whatsoever.

Great for families!

The location was very convenient with bike rentals just across the street. We were traveling with a child so it was nice to be on the outskirts of the red light district. Yet close enough that we could see a lot of the attractions by bike. We arrived earlier than expected and it was not a problem to get our room a little early. The front desk, Aitana, was so friendly and knowledgeable!

There was construction going on. But it wasn't too much of a hinderance to us.

I believe that our room was not ready yet when we arrived but the reception was able to get us another room in no time and it was even a bigger and more beautiful room that we have booked and it didn't cost us extra. They are wonderful!

All in all, certainly nota bad hotel and the the parts that I did not like where not very important.

We got an upgrade because they screwed up (see below)

I booked the room at least a month in advance, and specifically booked a room with twin beds and if possible with a bath. When we arrived, there was no room with twin beds and bath available... Finally (it took a while), they decided to give us an upgrade to a room with twin beds and a bath. So that was taken care off properly! But... The hotel was busy renovating, which limited access to the lobby and elevators. I do understand that they need to renovate once in a while and probably in the quiet months. But let customers at least know in advance (and not one day in advance) that there are renovations. Finally, I had booked the hotel, because I thought it was in walking distance of the central railway station. Formally, it is. Bit it is a long walk....

Modern hotel with spacious rooms

Modern hotel with spacious rooms by the sea. Location was very convenient right opposite my employer’s office. Rooms have either street view or bay view, depending on which side of the corridor they are located.

For some reason, I never managed to pay with my UK corporate credit card at the hotel (I used it in other places in Amsterdam).

Wonderful Hotel , Bad Service

The king suite was wonderful

-The service is very bad -When you are at your room you have to call number 9 for reception or any help, the staff do not answer, you to call them many times. -If you want to wash your clothes by the laundry, you have to bring your clothes to the reception by yourself and give them the clothes. - at 1 PM in the check out time, I called them to let someone to take my luggage to the lobby, they said the guys are in the break and you have to take your luggage down by yourself !! - They don’t provide adaptors.

Very Good

We booked the higher rooms so we had beautiful view, it was also very quiet. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. I really enjoyed the location too.

The breakfast room was very small, the tables werent cleaned, so you had to wait to find a spot. Breakfast was good but for the price I would go eat somewhere else, more comfortable place. Also the room are quite old already and the cleaning wasnt perfect, I saw an old napkin under the bed.

Staff were great, always helpful. Room was a decent size.

The restaurant had very little choice. Would be good to have a microwave in the room for baby milk.

The hotel is a 15min walk from the central station so it is easy to visit the city. The hotel was quiet and our room was spacious, clean and the bed confortable.

A great hotel we would recommend and definitely use again - we will also look at using the hotel chain in other locatio

Location was good - walking distance to main canals 10 mins away. Good views from rooms and a quiet location for the end of a long day. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was spotlessly clean. The beds were really comfortable!

Room service finishes too early at 10pm. Although the furniture was quirky, the sofa and chairs aren’t very comfortable.

Fun hotel with short walk to city centre, friendly staff.

Lovely hotel, easy to get to and has an underground secure car park. Not to far to walk to the city centre. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

The stair could do with being looked at as shoes catch on trim which nearly tripped my wife and I down the stairs.
